The role of Video Editor is perfect for a young and talented editor with 3-5 years of experience, who is looking to further develop their craft and join a high-performing production team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing client projects, including wedding videos, corporate videos, YouTube videos, and social media content. The ideal candidate must be proficient with video editing using Final Cut Pro, photo retouching using Adobe Lightroom, and creating animations/motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. They should possess the ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines, while juggling multiple tasks.
Editing client projects which include wedding videos, corporate videos, YouTube videos, and social media content.
- Creating animations/motion graphics for corporate videos, YouTube videos, and social media content.
Culling and retouching wedding photos.- Working with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Liaising with the production team regarding project requirements.
- Managing large video files (100-200 GB per project) during the editing process.
- Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient with video editing using Final Cut Pro.
- Proficient with photo retouching using Adobe Lightroom and creating animations/motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
At least 2 years of experience as a video editor (note: not necessary as we value portfolio, quality of work, and creativity).- Ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines, while juggling multiple tasks.
