Job Description:
This position is essential for producing teacher materials that will contribute to a comprehensive library of high-quality introductory and demo videos. Your expertise in video editing and production, combined with experience in ESL, will provide valuable and credible guidance to our teachers and trainers.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:
Enhance the quality of introductory and demo videos by cleaning up lighting, trimming unnecessary clips, and ensuring smooth transitions to create polished, engaging videos.
Audio Editing:
Ensure high-quality audio by editing and cleaning tutor audio to create a clear, cohesive, and professional audio experience.
Video Production:
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with trainers and tutors to maintain the quality and efficiency of video production, ensuring all content meets our standards. Additionally, oversee the delivery of intro and demo videos by tutors, focusing on grammar, pronunciation, and overall best practices in English language instruction.
Standards Enforcement: Enforce our video production guidelines and best practices, ensuring all videos adhere to our brand and educational standards.
Content Review: Review and assess videos submitted by trainers and tutors, providing constructive feedback and flagging any content that does not align with our guidelines.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with familiarity or experience in the education or e-learning industry.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Canva.
Creative Skills: Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Ability to create engaging and visually appealing videos that resonate with our target audience.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all video content.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Education: A degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
