Position: Vice President for Engineering Division
Location: Balintawak, Caloocan City
Work Setup: Onsite
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm)
Job Summary:
The Vice President overseeing the Engineering Division must possess exceptional leadership qualities to manage numerous projects within the organization. Responsible for setting the overall objectives and strategies for the division, this role entails defining the corporate vision, strategy, and direction. The Vice President executes impactful initiatives to align with corporate goals and reports directly to the company's President.
Responsibilities:
Conveying the company's objectives to the team
Supervising all project phases from initiation to completion
Reviewing and approving designs and budgets
Assigning tasks to engineering teams and managing staff
Monitoring project logistics and resource allocation
Developing and managing project budgets while implementing cost management strategies
Participating in trade shows, conferences, and supplier site visits
Advocating for team members to ensure resource adequacy for success
Communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Maintaining expertise in the field or sector
Collaborating with other team leaders and departments
Cultivating and sustaining relationships with suppliers and customers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field (masters degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years experience in executive roles overseeing multimillion-dollar projects
Profound understanding of engineering principles
Ability to foster a positive team attitude and morale
Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to handle negative feedback professionally
Willingness to work onsite and in-office
