Job Overview
The Utility is responsible for managing general cleanliness and maintenance duties at the premises of the organization.
Employment Status: Contractual
Duties and Responsibilities
General cleaning of the office and keeping it maintained and in good condition
Assist in the inventory and monitoring of office stocks and equipment
Organize office storage areas
Performs minor repairs, like basic replacement of lightbulbs and other minor office concerns
Collects and disposes of trash in the proper manner
Assists in the regular office maintenance activities by external contractors/suppliers
Monitor office security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
Notify Chief Administrator or Administrative Secretary concerning the need for major repairs or additions to office operating systems
Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, and chairs to prepare office facilities for events such as banquets and meetings
Performs other tasks when needed or as assigned
Qualifications
At least high school diploma, vocational diploma, or short course certificate
Knowledgeable of cleaning chemical, supplies, and equipment
Should be physically fit
Knowledgeable in basic office maintenance
Can follow written and verbal instructions
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
