Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, exceptional visual design skills, and the ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and drive engagement, with a particular focus on designing dashboards for business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
- Understand and analyze user needs and pain points through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Develop user personas, scenarios, and journey maps.
Design & Prototyping:
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Design UI elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Specialize in dashboard design for business applications, ensuring they are intuitive, informative, and user-friendly.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Communicate design decisions and rationales clearly and persuasively.
Testing & Iteration:
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve user interfaces.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing results, and changing requirements.
- Ensure designs are consistent with the overall brand and user experience guidelines.
Documentation & Maintenance:
- Maintain design documentation and specifications for development handoff.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Ensure the final product adheres to the company's design standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and problem-solving skills, including examples of dashboard designs for business applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong visual design skills with an understanding of user-system interaction.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Ability to deliver high-polished end designs that meet business and user requirements.
