What's the jobAs a key member of our team, you will support our US Tax Managers in daily client operations while also engaging directly with our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring excellence in client service, managing autonomously simple and medium-complex expat tax cases with expertise
Preparing US individual income tax returns (including international forms such as 1116, 2555, FinCEN 114, 8938, 5471, 3520, etc.)- Supporting in tax consultation tasks (i. e. tax estimation calculations, research on technical tax positions etc.)
Monitoring deadlines and filing extensions
- Supporting tax managers with the client engagement cycle as well as ad-hoc tax advisory tasks
- Who exactly are we looking for
At a minimum, you have:
- 3+ years of US individual income tax return preparation experience.
Experience with international forms such as forms 1116, 2555, 8938, FinCEN 114
- Business tax preparation (1065, 1120, 8865, 5471, 5472, etc) experience is a big plus!
Strong English communication skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Make decisions and can take direct feedback.
- ands-on experience with tools like CCH, Cloud-Services, SharePoint, MS-Office (in particular Excel and Word) etc.
