ROLE SUMMARYOur client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within their management consulting firm, which specializes in accounting and finance services for clients. This role's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, and collaborating with other accounting professionals to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- POSSIBLE SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
Coordinate accounting functions and programs- Enter and prepare financial transactions into the accounting system
Prepare financial analyses and reports
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts
Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned
- Perform cash management and review payroll
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, prior public accounting experience is highly desired
Prior experience with manufacturing or construction is required- Active Certified Public Accountant credential is a plus
Working knowledge of tax laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
Strong financial analysis skills- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to lead small accounting teams
- Experience in a multi-client environment
Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation- Ability to function in an autonomous environmentindependent worker, self-directed
