DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and process payroll for various clients ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and local tax regulations. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Assist with the administrative tasks related to tax returns and perform minimal data entry tasks to support tax preparation.
- Respond to client queries related to Quickbooks and provide exceptional customer service. Serves as the go-to person for Quickbooks Desktop issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be highly proficient in Quickbooks Desktop. Certification preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in US Accounting, with a strong preference for candidates with public accounting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and high quality work.
