We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist that will lead HR administration and compliance across three business units located in multiple states. This role will manage HR systems, payroll, compliance reporting, and employee benefits, ensuring our team is organized, compliant, and supported.
You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks:
_Payroll:
_- Process and submit payroll for three multi-state payrolls.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
- Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain support tickets and resolve ongoing HRIS system issues
_Compliance:
_- Use compliance systems to conduct state-specific compliance checks, identifying vulnerabilities to current or upcoming laws.
Process wage orders and assist with necessary research and documentation.
- Respond to mailed tax notices and establish/reestablish necessary employer portals by state.
Monitor compliance and reporting standards, resolve issues with Namely Tax team, and open new employer tax accounts when entering new states.
_HRIS Management:
_- Participate as a team administrator ensuring all parts of the system are up to date through checklist participation and audits.
Maintain appropriate HRIS permissions to enable Namely to remit on behalf of the company.

Health and Ancillary Benefits Administration:_
- Act as an administrator during open enrollment, preparing reports and fulfilling brokerage team requests.
Send out enrollment information to new team members, manage billing, payments, billing reconciliation, and terminate employees in the benefits admin portal.- Manage PMFLA and disability claims and facilitate employee requests and questions surrounding benefits plans.
Ensure ACA compliance reporting and handle employee-associated payroll deduction setup.

401k Management:_
- Oversee Form 5500 filing and ensure historical compliance.
Oversee administration of onboarding and offboarding
_Workers Compensation:
_- Manage claims, reporting requests, and organize SOPs for injury response for all teams.
Complete necessary reporting for compliance audits

Compensation:_
- Maintain market pay bands and update them in the chosen tracking system.

Recruiting Administration:_
- Schedule candidates, send assessments, and update candidate pipelines with necessary attachments.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on HR systems and compliance.
Knowledge of United States employment laws and multi-state payroll compliance.- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
