We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and auditing standards, including GAAP and GAAS. This role involves the ff:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with GAAS during audit engagements
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
- Provide guidance on accounting treatments and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and auditing roles
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST
Rate: 600USD - 700USD per month for a start
