We are seeking an experienced US Accountant (Probate Accounting)
to join our team and provide support to duties which involve legal process of distributing a deceased person's estate.
- The role will include probate administration process typically involves seven key steps
:
(1) filing a petition for probate with the court
(2) giving notice to interested parties
(3) having the will admitted to probate and appointing an executor
(4) publishing notice of the estate administration
(5) collecting the assets of the decedent
(6) paying valid debts and taxes, and
(7) distributing the remainder of the estate assets to the beneficiaries.
Strong attention to details
Time management skills
Excellent communication skills
At least two (2) years work experience in probate accounting
