JOB SUMMARYPlans, organizes and directs all aspects of the Physical Therapy services in the clinic. Ensure quality service and work efficiency is maintained to the highest standard for Physical Therapy Department. Key staff role in the technological implementation of all components of the medical practice.
- SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Directs and supervises the activities performed by the Physical Therapy department staff including customer service.
- Prepare and ensure efficient staff work schedule.
- Ensure that all departments/stations are manned at all times.
- Ensure that all machines within the department/s are well maintained.
- Strictly implement and comply with the Practice Guidelines for the respective profession.
- Conduct monthly departmental meeting.
- Handle department concerns efficiently.
- Orient and train new PT and ensure compliance on the following:
Standard Clinic Operating Procedures
Standard PT Operating Procedures
Company Policies
Health and Safety Procedures
Infection Control
Customer Service
Data Privacy
- Attend meetings such as, but not limited to, PT meeting and Clinic Management staff meeting. Actively participate in order to contribute in the system improvement.
- Effectively disseminate information discussed through meetings, close monitoring of implementation and evaluation of results.
Assure effective communication between members of the department and coordinate information with other concerned departments.
- Ensure strict conduct of PT procedures in accordance to set technical standards.
Ensure that staff adheres to emergency procedures and first-aid treatments.- Ensure regular inspection of the department to check cleanliness, orderliness and completeness of supplies.
Review and update all clinic processes/procedures for operational efficiency and ensure quality service to our clients annually or as needed.
- Compile and maintain records, reports and statistical information for evaluation and planning that may be required by the management.
Update Clinic Management on any operational matters.- Oversee and monitor availability and expiration of stocks/supplies.
Ensure information security and observe confidentiality at all times.
- Attends all PT mandatory training.
Meets current documentation standards and policies.
