ABOUT MARKETING IN UI
We build categories and brands like St Ives, Hellmann's and Cif globally across markets, media and channels, by enhancing brand awareness and brand through creative and effective digital mediums. We launch Unilever brands in new markets and bring them to life.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll play a strategic role in unlocking growth opportunity in Philippines via seeding and scale-up plans for Unilever core brands
You'll lead brand seeding and scale-up models, leverage digital and shopper marketing, and impactful brand activation to grow penetration and market share
You'll partner UI Business Groups (BG) to analyse market whitespace opportunities and lead regional BU cross-functional teams to land innovations OTIF (on-time and in-full)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & NPD
Lead best in class holistic marketing plans for key brand launch and expansion in PH for Beauty & Wellbeing (e.g. Vaseline, St Ives, Block & Glow etc)
Lead brilliant basic for seeding brands with best-in-class execution in PH for Homecare (e.g. Surf Dishwash, Snuggle) and Nutrition (e.g. Hellmann's)
Lead creative development/adaptation and media plan with agencies; POSM development and execution; digital campaign (social media, PR) activation; with diligent performance tracking and evolution of subsequent plans partnering with local and regional agencies
Collaborate with UI global BG team and regional cross functional team to seed and land NPDs or new brands across PH. Support sales team on preparing trade decks for NPDs or new brands pitching to key retailers
As brand custodian for our brands in PH, support sales team by educating merchandisers and distributors on new brand inductions and campaigns
Business Performance Analysis & Actions
Partner with Marketing Lead and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to deliver strategic projects and hit incremental revenue, profit growth, and market share targets
Support Marketing Lead in preparing for key business reviews and presentations
Qualify brand seeding opportunities via consumer insights, market analysis, financial feasibility
Play a crucial role in the Annual Joint Business Planning exercise with Distributors/ Retailers
Own and track Brand Marketing Investment (BMI) budgets
Stakeholder Management
Develop strong working relationships with UI global marketing teams, local BDMs, distributors and local / regional agencies
Share best practices and learnings with wider marketing team and reapply others successes
WORK CLOSELY WITH
UI Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain and Finance
Creative, PR , Media, Brand Activation agencies
Distributors and retailers
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of marketing experience at top-tier FMCG companies, serving Philippines market
Experience in Beauty & Well Being and Homecare will be preferred.
Demonstrate strategic mindset, entrepreneurial drive, and adaptability
Excellent project management skills to independently lead and deliver key initiatives on-time-in-full (OTIF)
Have effective communication (English & Filipino), negotiation, and influencing skills
Track record of delivering revenue, profit, market share, and penetration growth
Experience working with multinational teams located overseas
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
