The Underwriting Assistant communicates with insurers, consultants, and service providers. She/He prepares and processes applications before sending them to the insurer. She/He processes all required paperwork for the insurer and offers clients the premium breakdown and adjustment of invoice. She/He also ensures accurate billing. She/He is also responsible for providing operational and clerical support in the processing of applications for insurance coverages for all lines and sureties coverages and underwriting activities of the department
Graduate of any 4 -year course- Preferably with at least 6 months to a year of experience in non-life insurance and underwriting but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Good oral and written communication skills
- Good at navigating Microsoft applications
- Location: 2F Mercantile Insurance Bldg., General Luna Corner Beaterio Sts. Intramuros Manila
