Job Summary
- To develop and grow the overall trust business in the region of assignment that will lead to increase in AUM and trust income of the TIG, as well as maintain relationship with clients and branches for long-term business retention and client satisfaction.
How will you contribute
- Leads the generation of trust sales volume from the branches in the region of assignment including other territory(ies) that may be occasionally assigned, with the sales and marketing of new products and existing products.
- Sells and markets various trust products for individuals and corporations such as, but not limited to, the following: IMA (investment management account,) UITFs, and retirement fund management.
- Conducts presentations and sales calls to prospective and existing clients, both individuals and corporates, in order to sell the abovementioned products with the use of sales kits for primary securities issuances, historical ROIs for UITFs, comparison of RCBC UITFs versus other banks, market and economic updates, and addresses questions and provides solutions to client's investment needs.
- Prepares draft computations of secondary market issuances and discusses yields and prices with clients and branch sales personnel. Further guides the clients and branches on how to consider issue picks in consideration with yields and coupons.
- Develops marketing and sales strategies, and conducts the following activities that will boost the sales volume across the branches under the scope of assignment, as well as enhance the business relationship between the RBG and TIG: branch visits, product briefings/roadshows, branch meetings, economic briefing to region of assignment/branches, environmental scanning, client prospecting, webinars, and the like.
- Explains and performs customer suitability assessment for clients, whenever needed.
- Studies the financial statements of IMA accounts and retirement accounts and discusses this during client maintenance calls or upon client's request.
- Maintains the existing Trust accounts by doing regular client communications (phone calls, visits, video calls) and offering the latest available investment outlets. When the need arises, defends
- the existing accounts from being transferred to other competitor institutions by preparing a comparative presentation of fund performances versus other banks.
- Provides investment advice to clients in choosing the right UITF investment. Guides them in making UITF placements over the phone, virtual, or face-to-face meeting, when the need arises. Guides the branch sales personnel on how to help clients regarding such, as well.
- Prepares and provides solutions to special requests of branches and clients such as updating of the market value of their UITFs at a certain period of time and discusses past performance and future forecasts as a tool for investment advice.
- Prepares simulated computations of investment earnings upon the request of clients and branches and does sales presentations and justifications using such tool.
- Cross-sells other bank products and YGC products to clients.
- Manages the orders of the branches for all investment issuances which includes the following: order-taking, ensuring proper submission of signed trust documents, funding of placements.
- Manages the instructions of clients regarding account terminations, partial withdrawals, or any changes in the management of the account such as trust fee structure, change or addition of trustor names.
- Coordinates with the portfolio managers regarding the implementation of investment goals and objectives of client's portfolios (IMA and retirement accounts.)
- Coordinates with portfolio managers and branches regarding the preparation of retirement benefit payments as requested by the retirement fund accounts.
- Coordinates with portfolio managers and retirement accounts regarding any changes in the management of retirement fund (portfolio mix, investment strategies.)
- Coordinates with branches regarding the trust volume growth of their respective responsibility centers.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in any business-related course.
- Two (2) years industry experience in a Trust Marketing Officer or Trust Marketing Assistant capacity.
