About the Team & Business Line:
For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.
As a valuable member of the Citco Corporate Solutions Accounting Team, you will be working with dedicated professionals to manage the entire process of preparing accounts to delivering financial statements in various Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) of clients in Multinational Business, Alternative Investment Funds, Corporate and Financial Institutions, and Private Wealth. Our team uses its deep understanding and experience, combined with industry-leading technology, to deliver a complete and holistic service offering covering accounting, SPV administration, and a host of complimentary ancillary services.
You will be responsible in performing, managing and recording various transactions relating to the day-to-day dealings of, and preparation of reports as required by clients of Citco Hong Kong, Singapore and other Citco Offices. The position will have an integral part in the financial reporting process of said client. The candidate should be able to work independently and timely, with excellent written and verbal skills, and have the capabilities to work alongside team members in identifying issues and implement solutions as added.
Perform general accounting and bookkeeping according to local, international and industry specific accounting requirements
Prepare financial statements and other required reports for statutory and management purposes
Substantiate and justify client transactions (and expense reports, when required)
Monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentations
Communicate and coordinate client matters to the team, other Citco offices, and third parties
Liaise with client, auditors, tax advisors, and payroll company, when applicable
Store and manage supporting documents on the respective client folders
Work with the team on other tasks and deliverables
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Management Accounting or Accounting Technology
CPA is an advantage but not required
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting/external or internal audit position (experience or exposure to international organization, service provider industry, tax driven structures or asset management industry is an advantage)
Knowledge of IFRS, Hong Kong FRS or Singapore FRS
Proficient in relevant accounting software and other applications, such as Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Have the ability to work independently and in a team
Can maintain a high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
Have good analytical skills
Able to deliver quality work while adhering to strict timelines
