Truck Driver Vocational course graduate or at least High School Graduate
Having a valid Professional Drivers License for 6 wheel vehicles
1-2 years of truck driving experience
Has a clean driving record
Knowledgeable in customer service
Observes a healthy lifestyle (no vices)
Can start immediately
General Skills:
o Must be physically fit.
o Must be a team player.
o Know how to drive.
Be able to work for long hours
Must know the ins and outs of the truck
Can work Mondays through Saturdays (occasionally on Sundays or Holidays)
Reliable, honest, punctual, and responsible
Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
Obeying and following applicable traffic laws. Reporting defects, accidents and violations
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with the regulations
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
Apply regular inspection of Battery, Lights, Oil, Water, Brake, Air, Gas, Engine, Tire & self (B.L.O.W.B.A.G.E.T.S) on a daily basis. Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
Interacting with customers in a professional manner
