Job Description

Purpose Statement

The Treasury Assistant is responsible for daily treasury activities, which include cash management, funding, and maintaining the financial soundness of the company by tracking income and expenditures.
  • Key Result Areas: Duties and Responsibilities
  • A. Bank Transactions
In charge of opening accounts for all Special Projects and General Fund Accounts.
  • Updating the passbook and bank statements at the end of each month for financial statement reporting.
Arranging cheques for PRC, such as BIR Tax Payment, Social Obligations (SSS, HDMF, and Philhealth), Payroll, Reimbursement, Donations, and others to be deposited into the assigned banks.
  • Depositing cheques of PRC NHQ Staff and Chapters for commutation, consultancy, cash advances, and others.
Processing urgent payment transactions like telegraphic transfers for dollar and other foreign currencies for Special Projects, General Fund, and Molecular Lab Accounts.
  • Dealing with the Bank Treasurer in Dollar Trading.
Emailing Letters of Instruction (such as Cash Advances, payment to suppliers, and others) to different PRC Banks.
  • B. Bank and Fund Management
Monitoring daily bank balances and facilitating funding of PRC Accounts, including Special Projects, General Fund, and Molecular Lab Accounts.
  • Facilitating funding of Payroll every 10th and 25th of the month.
Preparing fund transfers of Cash Advances for PRC Staff and Chapters, and payment to suppliers through bank advice.
  • Processing reimbursement of staff, ERU, and Safety Allowance through online payroll in the absence of the Senior Analyst.
Preparing Daily Bank Balances for Swab/Saliva Test Payments.
  • C. Payment and Deposit Confirmation
Verifying and confirming deposits of Chapter remittances (Blood Processing fee, Fund Campaign, MAAB, and other remittances) for the issuance of Official Receipts.
  • Verifying and confirming payments to PRC, such as online donations, training fees, BID document fees, rentals, and others.
  • D. Other Relevant Tasks
Preparing checks through the NAV System in the absence of a check maker.
  • Facilitating the signing of cheques, and bank forms for signatures of PRC Signatories including the Board of Governors.
Acting as a cashier reliever.
  • Applying for Authority to Print to BIR for NHQ and Chapters Official Receipts.
Assisting the Molecular Lab cashier and bookkeeper in check preparation to suppliers and other expenses through the BDO Online Check Writing facility.
  • Performing other assigned tasks delegated by the immediate superior.


  • QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor in Accountancy or any business related accounting/finance course
  • Preferably with (1) year of experience
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
