As a Travel Agency Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities
- Promote and sell a wide range of travel packages to customers
- Understand customers travel needs and preferences to recommend suitable travel packages
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues or concerns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
- Stay updated with industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to secure reservations and ensure smooth travel experiences for customers
- Manage booking systems and handle all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company
- Stay up-to-date with sales techniques and attend training sessions to continuously improve sales skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
- Passion for travel and strong knowledge of popular travel destinations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems and booking software
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in travel and tourism is a plus
