The Role
In a Deal Advisory role, you will provide strategic guidance throughout transactions. You will analyze financial, operational, and market data to help clients make informed decisions and achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Understand how Deal Advisory services clients within a public accounting firm.
- Contribute to pre-engagement documentation, planning, and updates.
- Assist with transactions by completing tasks, updating working papers, and maintaining records until engagement completion.
- Analyze transaction data, industry information, and client needs, ensuring internal consistency and accuracy.
- Utilize research tools to gather and interpret data on targets and clients for marketing and proposal support.
- Apply technical knowledge to analyze documents, interpret findings, and communicate clearly with the team.
- Build knowledge of transaction parties and explain deal mechanics.
- Grasp the transaction rationale and valuation basis to provide valuable client advice.
- Analyze and report on results, implications for the deal, and client solutions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance or the related
- Has at least 3-6 years of experience in Deal Advisory services reports, valuation, business planning, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
