Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Officer is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that support the growth and development of employees. The role involves identifying training needs, creating educational materials, and ensuring that training initiatives align with organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Training Needs Assessment:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to understand performance issues and training needs.

Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs and workshops on various topics, including but not limited to, technical skills, leadership, and soft skills.
  • Create and update training materials, such as manuals, handouts, and online content.

Program Implementation:

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and online.
  • Coordinate with external trainers or consultants as needed.
  • To echo the training to all employees as needed.

Evaluation and Reporting:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports on training outcomes, program effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement.

Talent Development:

  • Develop career development plans and succession planning initiatives to support employee growth and retention.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptability and creativity in designing engaging training content
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Onsite at San Pedro/Alabang
