Job Title: Training & Quality Control (QC) Coordinator

Position Summary
The Training & Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs. The role also focuses on ensuring the quality and accuracy of work produced by the team through comprehensive review processes. The coordinator will facilitate continuous learning and skill development to enhance performance, compliance, and client satisfaction, while establishing quality control measures to maintain high service standards. This is a remote position, but will require in person training in Makati from time to time for new hire orientations. HCP operates during business hours in the local PH time zone. Flexibility is required for some team meetings during U.S. hours
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Design & Develop Training Programs:
- Create training materials, manuals, and resources for new hires and existing employees.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in training content.
- Utilize firm resources as appropriate for training (LCVista).
- Conduct &/or Coordinate Training Sessions:
- Deliver engaging, effective, and hands-on training sessions for employees at all levels, including onboarding for new hires, technical accounting training, and soft skills development.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and continuing education programs tailored to accounting services.
- Track & Evaluate Employee Performance:
- Monitor and assess employees progress during and after training, providing feedback for improvement.
- Maintain training records and progress reports for each team member.
- Update Training Programs:
- Continuously improve and update training content based on changes in accounting regulations, firm practices, and employee performance gaps.
- Implement innovative training techniques, including e-learning and interactive sessions, to boost engagement and knowledge retention.
- Work with Management:
- Collaborate with various leaders and management to ensure training aligns with strategic goals and company values.
- Provide regular updates on training initiatives, QC activities, and results to senior leadership.
Quality Control (QC)
- Establish Quality Control Standards:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all work meets professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor & Review Work:
- Regularly review accounting work performed by staff for accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
- Identify and report errors, discrepancies, or process inefficiencies.
- Train managers and other appropriate staff to monitor and review work.
- Conduct Audits:
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with established policies and quality standards.
- Work closely with management to ensure that all legal and regulatory standards are met.
- Train managers and other appropriate staff to conduct audits.
- Provide Feedback & Coaching:
- In coordination with managers, offer detailed feedback and coaching to employees based on quality reviews.
- Recommend corrective actions and ensure employees follow through on improvements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest accounting trends, tools, and compliance standards, and integrate them into the firms practices.
- Make recommendations for process improvements based on QC findings and team feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- Experience in training or staff development within a professional services environment preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control practices and internal auditing processes in an accounting setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new ideas.
