Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for endorsement, monitoring, and identification of course compliance requirements of seafarers by specific vessel assignments, Course Matrix, Certificate Matrix, and CMS requirements.
- Coordinates with the Maritime Training Institutions (MTI) for training enrollments, documentation (i.e., referral forms), logistic needs, and training-related activities.
- Prepares training documents, including, but not limited to, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), as applicable, and training forms.
- Prepares logistics arrangements such as but not limited to training briefings/instructions for the seafarers.
- Inform the Training Manager, Senior Crewing Officer, Crewing Officer, and Seafarer of any canceled training by the training provider or, as a result, of the Seafarer's fault.
- Discuss the contents and purposes of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) (Training Bond) to Seafarers who will be deployed for a foreign training course.
- Coordinates timely delivery of all completed training certificates of completed training and properly distributes certificates to the concerned Senior Crewing Officers or Crewing Officers.
- Monitors updates of training certificates in the Crewing Management System (CMS) for all completed training.
- Updates necessary training movements in the Crewing Management System (CMS) to pay training allowances to seafarers.
- Prepares and facilitates in-house training schedules with designated internal and external speakers, coordinating with the Training Manager as necessary.
- Monitor compliance and collate all completed training forms. Prepare a monthly summary of completed course evaluation forms.
- Endorses and monitors compliance with computer-based training (CBT) of all seafarers before vessel deployment.
- Attends tasks in CMS as required by the principal.
- Perform delegated functions contributing to employees professional growth and development.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in any four-year course.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and results-driven.
- With professional maturity and energy to deliver.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS applications.
