Traffic Management Designer - Work From Home

Purpose of the Position:

• Production of traffic management plans and services that comply with national and state traffic management legislation and that meet the requirements of our clients.

• Primary Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients and contractors to establish the specific requirements of traffic management plans at worksites. Site visits to be conducted as required.

The production of traffic guidance schemes, traffic management plans and traffic control plans in accordance with client specific requirements and in accordance with state and national traffic management guidelines.

• Liaise with state and local council government departments and Police (and Police as required) to obtain permits for works.

Other duties as determined by the Planning and Projects Manager to facilitate the organisational requirements of the company.

• Compliance with the company Business Management System.

Participation in consultation and communication with management in the workplace in the prevention of work health and safety incidents and environmental incidents.

• Take all reasonable care for your own health and safety and the health and safety of other people who may be affected by your conduct in the workplace.

Take all reasonable care that your activities in the workplace do not adversely impact on the environment.

• Report all hazards and incidents that may be a risk to the safety or health of a person or the environment to your manager.

• Qualifications:

• Experience in the preparation of traffic guidance schemes, traffic management plans and traffic control plans in accordance with relevant state and national legislation.

Qualifications and experience in the interpretation and application of relevant state and national traffic management legislation including Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, guides and associated documents

• Demonstrated ability to liaise with clients and provide accurate advice and plans.

Sound computer skills particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and demonstrated competency in the use of CorelDRAW and CAD.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
