JOB SUMMARYMainly responsible for recording of bookings, assignment and dispatching of 4W, 6W and 10W trucks. Acts as support to the Traffic controller II.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Records bookings received from clients.
- Assigns/plot schedules of trucks based on bookings.
- Communicate to Operations Supervisor any concerns on truck availability (breakdown, non-availability)
- Communicates on time to clients any changes/issues/recommendations to bookings.
- Prepares waybill and gate pass for the trucks.
- Dispatches trucks as they leave the base.
- Ensures that trucks leave and arrive at the home base on scheduled time.
- Monitor Drivers and truck helper's compliance to schedule trips.
- Communicates with Operations Supervisor issues of drivers and truck helpers regarding their trips. (delays, breakdown, traffic apprehensions etc.)
- Submits a daily record of Bookings, Served/unserved trips and cancelled trips to the Traffic Supervisor and Operations Supervisor.
- Maintains a monthly summary of Bookings, Served/unserved trips and cancelled trips.
- Serve as a back up to Traffic Controller II.
- Performs other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Educational Attainment _
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or other mechanical related cour_se _

Work Experience _
- At least one (1) year experience gained from a service industry or the cargo forwarding business
