QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:- EDUCATION: Engineering Graduate - preferably Electrical Engineering or other similar fields.
- TRAINING: Relevant trainings/exposure in power plant operations and WESM/ASPA energy settlement.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of Two (2) years experience in Power generation company or attached energy agency/sector/corporation. Exposure on Power Trading and Billing & Settlement activities. Fast learner and proficient in computer use.
Handles the optimum Power Trading and Market allocation (ASPA, Bilateral Contract, WESM, etc.) of SPC/SIPC's Power Plants. Performs all related compliances as required by the Electric Power Industry (i.e. DOE, ERC, NGCP, PEMC, IEMOP, etc.) for the SPC/SIPC's Power Plants. Create necessary templates to optimised trading strategies and protocols.
