Sets objectives, targets and strategies of the unit in line with the digitization projects of the bank.
Supervises the daily transactions of Trade Head Office, Davao and Cebu Desks.
Trains and motivates staff. Directly supervises, directs, guides and evaluates their performance.
Formulates monitoring systems and control measure to improve efficiency.
Ensures adherence of staff to all bank policies, procedures and control the unit and other working units of the bank.
Ensure the coordination and harmonious working relationship between trade services and other working units of the bank.
Represents trade and services in various management meetings.
Attends to client calls as required by the market unit.
Conducts trainings regarding Trade Services products as required by HRD.
Resource Speaker on all sales boot camps and other trainings in relation to trade production.
Supervise preparation of CUD monthly management reports.
Post/verifies daily transaction via Finacle/Trade Finance System.
Closely supervises custom duties collections and remittance via the E2M and philpass systems.
Sends swift message to central communications units via Email.
Coordinates to internal and external auditors, BSP auditors and other Government agencies with regards to inquiries and ongoing audits.
Ensure active participation of group in the digitalization project of the bank.
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
To put the Unit into its right direction, to abide by the bank's DNA. To ensure that all trade transactions are in compliant with external and internal regulations.
