Tourism management college instructor is responsible for in innovatively teaching the tertiary level students the tourism and hospitality management program and other related disciplines. Other essential job role are as follows:
- Develop interesting and comprehensive lesson plan and strategies aligned to educational standards and objectives.
- Conducting practical demonstration of industry standard practices and ethics.
- Collaborate with industry professionals for an internship, training, and seminar program.
- Organized practical activities including but not limited to field trips and tours.
- Fair and objective assessments of students through quizzes, examinations, projects, and practical.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education with a major in tourism management or a related field.
- Full pledge Master Degree Holder or at least with 18 units in Master Degree.
- Licensed Professional Teacher is a plus but not required.
- With at least 2 years teaching experience or working with students.
- With at least 2 years of intensive working experience in the tourism industries.
- Excellent in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to teaching and lifelong learning.
