Job Summary:The Total Rewards Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, bonuses, and recognition initiatives. This role ensures that the company's rewards systems are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the business objectives, while also fostering employee satisfaction and engagement.
Strategy Development:- Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and talent strategy.
Conduct regular market analysis to ensure that compensation and benefits packages are competitive within the industry.- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that total rewards strategies support the organization's objectives.
Compensation Management:- Design and manage compensation structures, including salary ranges, incentive programs, and bonus schemes.
Oversee the job evaluation process to ensure internal equity and consistency across the organization.- Provide guidance on salary offers, pay adjustments, and promotions.
Benefits Administration:- Manage the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Work with external vendors to negotiate and manage benefit plan costs and services.- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
Performance and Recognition:- Develop and manage performance recognition programs that reward and motivate employees for their contributions.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recognition programs and make adjustments as necessary.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze total rewards data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits to senior management.
Use data analytics to forecast the financial impact of rewards programs and recommend adjustments.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with DOLE.
- Manage risk associated with total rewards programs, including audits and compliance reviews.
Keep up to date with changes in labor laws and regulations that affect compensation and benefits.Employee Communication:
Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate employees about the total rewards programs.
- Address employee queries and concerns related to compensation, benefits, and recognition.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee understanding of total rewards.Vendor Management:
Select and manage relationships with external vendors and consultants providing compensation and benefits services.
- Ensure that vendor services align with organizational needs and provide value for money.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in total rewards, compensation and benefits, or a related HR field. Experience in a leadership role is a plus.
