As a Timekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate recording and management of employee work hours. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our workforce, adhering to labor regulations and company policies. This position requires meticulousness, integrity, and effective communication skills.
Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, including clock-in and clock-out times.
- Monitor and manage timekeeping systems, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy.
Calculate and record employee hours worked, including overtime and leave balances.- Generate regular reports on attendance and hours worked for management review.
Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to timekeeping records.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee compensation.
Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in timekeeping practices.- Provide training and support to employees on timekeeping procedures and systems.
Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to timekeeping.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in timekeeping practices.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a timekeeper, preferably in a similar industry or setting.
Strong understanding of timekeeping systems and software.- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
