Role Summary
Test/Repair Operators operates equipment, systems and infrastructures required for testing Teradyne products, and executing test processes while adhering to quality standards.
Test/Repair operators will also work with Engineers for process and quality improvements.
Role Functions
- Perform incoming and outgoing visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)
- Perform assembly and disassembly of PCBAs
- Run required test processes, including activities such as (but not limited to) installing PCBA into testers, attaching/disconnecting interface and power supply cables, installing device interface boards, and running the appropriate test programs.
- Interpret test scripts, perform basic failure isolation of PCBAs and follow defined failure and fix steps. Escalate undefined failures to Technicians, Engineers, or Supervisor.
- Perform repair on low-complex PCBA failures
- Perform final preparation of PCBAs and shipping to final quality assurance (FQA) team.
Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)
- Detail-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Knowledgeable in basic electronics
- Knowledgeable in operating basic test equipment such as a multimeter
- Knowledgeable in basic soldering
Education Requirement
- Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates
