To provide a detailed and high standard of testing to ensure that application releases to the production environment are free of bugs and workflow issues. Therefore, to contribute to the ongoing improvement and maintenance of WBP's applications in line with business objectives.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Assist in ensuring the delivered application's usability, maintainability, supportability, reliability, and availability through testing
- Undertake Salesforce project-based, BAU, and integration testing;
Undertake testing of legacy applications;
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle through testing, identifying bugs and workflow issues, and identifying continuous improvement of business applications;
Assist in deploying upgrades and new modules to WBP applications through user acceptance testing, regression testing, and post-production release verification testing;- Analyse application requirements and design documents;
Evaluate and execute manual test cases and document test results;
- Isolate, replicate, report defects, and verify defect fixes;
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional, and design specifications and requirements;- Ensure WBP applications are bug-free and operate with minimal downtime;
Prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team and fast-paced environment;
- Support the Software Development Manager, Developers, and Test lead as required;
Provide some application support where required for Salesforce and legacy applications to WBP staff via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist in ensuring that the test strategy and plans are properly executed
Execute effective planning and management of the testing environment and testing lifecycle;- Assist the Test Lead to write and implement test plans, test strategy, test cases & test data;
Perform unit, user acceptance, regression, and post-release verification testing of all WBP applications as required.
- Ensure documentation remains up-to-date
Create release training notes, and knowledge articles and maintain up-to-date user manuals and training documentation;
- Create business management reports as required.
Other reasonable duties as required
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related disciplines are essential.- ISTQB Foundation certification is desirable
- KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES
Must have experience with Salesforce testing Salesforce lightning, Sales cloud, Service cloud, Field service lightning, Community cloud- Understanding of Salesforce flows, process builder, and app builder.
Understanding and working experience in integration testing
- Experience in testing types - functional, user acceptance, regression including with legacy systems
Must have Agile scrum methodology experience- Must have working knowledge of Jira / Confluence/ Xray test management for Jira
Some knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, SQL - and SSMS an advantage
Methodical approach to testing
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to produce detailed test plans and supporting documentation- Ability to train and provide application support to staff

This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check (NCHC) also known as a Police Check.- Some out-of-regular hours work will be required in this position.
