About the Role:We develop & market a suite of products including PAXUS, CONNECT, and DataFeed, which provide complete fund accounting, share registration and fund administration functionality, integration with external fund pricing systems, and a client web portal solution, along with our optional web hosting solution PFS-CLOUD.
We are seeking a candidate to fulfill the test analyst role to support our global client base. Reporting to the Test Manager, the key role objectives are to:
- Complete functional system & regression testing of all product enhancements, fixes, and strategic projects, ensuring full coverage of the requirements & design;
Complete regular manual & automated regression testing of planned upgrade releases (major & minor versions)- Assist in the development of test automation suites using a variety of automation tools;
Provide ad-hoc feedback on business requirements / technical design documents for new software developments;
- Provide ad-hoc support and consultancy to both internal and external clients.
This is a predominantly technology-oriented role focusing on internal clients, so the ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team is essential; however, some external client-facing work is also involved. There are currently 120+ live sites with approx. 5000 users and over USD1Tn in fund assets administered on PFS-PAXUS in over 30 countries.
- Qualifications & Experience Required
The role would suit an experienced & qualified software Test Analyst, as the successful candidate needs to hit the ground running and become productive quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills, as well as the ability to analyze and understand technical software designs
The ability to self-motivate, self-manage, and work under pressure in a small office environment;
- A keen interest in IT and a willingness to learn multiple hardware configurations and software applications used in the delivery and maintenance of PFS products;
A willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues must be resolved.
Ideally, candidates will have 3+ years prior experience in a similar Test Analyst role and will have completed the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or equivalent professional certification). Experience in SSMS / SQL Query and prior fund accounting/transfer agency experience will be beneficial but is not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.
