We are an established online retailer with stores on Shopee and Lazada. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant/auditor to undertake a one-time project to audit our product prices, platform fees, taxes, monthly expenses, and earnings.
- Project Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive audit of our online stores, focusing on the following key areas:
Product Prices Audit:
- Review and verify the current pricing of all products listed on Shopee and Lazada.
Analyze platform fees, taxes, and monthly expenses associated with each product.
Earnings Analysis:
- Calculate the net earnings for each product after deducting platform fees, taxes, and other related expenses.
Prepare a detailed report outlining the gross and net earnings for each product.
Excel Report Preparation:- Develop an Excel spreadsheet to compile the following data:
Current product prices
- Suggested Retail Prices (SRP)
Calculated earnings- Applicable discounts and promotions
Comparison with competitors prices
Competitor Price Comparison:
- Research and document competitor pricing for similar products.
Provide insights and recommendations based on the price comparison to enhance our pricing strategy.
Requirements:- Proven experience as an accountant or auditor, preferably with a background in e-commerce.
Proficiency in Excel and ability to create detailed and accurate financial reports.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Shopee and Lazada platforms is a plus.- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
