The Sales Talent Bench Pool, is a talent pooling initiative designed to acclimate and prepare professionals aspiring to be part of the Reed Elsevier Philippines growing Sales organization.
A crucial part of this initiative is a 90-day training program aimed at building and nurturing foundational selling skills, overall salesmanship, and acquainting the participants with REPHs Sales products and processes.
We aim to develop and transition the participants from Almost-There Talents to Ready-Now Resources according to REPH standards and expectations.
By the end of the program, participants must be well-prepared to assume the roles of Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, or Account Managers.
Accountabilities:
- Makes outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursues sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers
- Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records and completes required documentation
- Identifies and qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems
- May have an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams territories
- May have an individual or team sales quota and is likely to have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity
- Able to follow set instructions and processes to complete work
- Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of lead generation or inside sales experience with proven successful sales background
- Experience with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day)
- Appointment setting experience is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong detail orientation with the ability to follow defined processes
- Strong time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Amenable with working on a night shift
