Job Description:- Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products and services.
Answer telephone phone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements.- Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction.
Explain the product or service to potential customers.
- Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer and knowledge of how to adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals.
Provide pricing details.- Handle customer and marketing surveys.
Conduct customer and marketing surveys.
- Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists.
Schedule appointments for sales agents to meet prospective customers.
With 2-3 years of previous experience in sales, customer service, or telemarketing preferred.- Ability to promote a product or service using persuasive language and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be persuasive and handle negotiations.
- Excellent knowledge of customer's rights and responsibilities.
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies.- Proficiency in relevant computer applications with speed and accuracy in typing.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
