About the Role:The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and effective data operations that support an amazing user experience for the external and internal stakeholders who use the client platform. This individual should have experience in working with large datasets, manipulation of those datasets, identifying patterns and trends in data, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is someone excited to join a startup and use her/his data management knowledge to help it grow as efficiently as possible. Attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment are necessary for success in this role.
- Responsibilities include:
Manipulating, standardizing, and reconciling large sets of user data provided from various external sources (insurance carriers, partners, and clients)
- Identifying, building, and managing templates that can be used to efficiently manage client data
Converting client benefit plan information and plan documents into database-ready formats- Owning process documentation related to data management practices
Continually identifying process, template, and tool improvements and working with Product team to implement
- Working with clients to help implement them onto client and to help them understand data management best practices
Working with external partners & insurance carriers to help drive projects related to data operations- Working with internal stakeholders to understand their use of data to support key business functions
Bachelor's degree- Working knowledge of MS excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Certification in data analysis or MS Excel- Working knowledge of at least one benefits administration or HRIS system
Baseline knowledge of the employee benefits industry, including an understanding of how employee benefits data is managed by employers and carriers
