Overview of the role
Seeking a highly personable, passionate and committed individual to provide prompt response or support to both admin users and guests with IT related issue including Extra Low Voltage (ELV) in the rooms..
Key Accountabilities
Install and maintain ELV system in guest rooms. This includes but not limited to bedside panels, lighting control, air-conditioning, automated valet call, room temperature and humidity, volume control and audio/video sources.
Provide guest support / troubleshooting on issues related to internet connectivity, VPN connection, email, conferencing both video & voice, telephone, tv including installation of WiFi device and other equipment.
Maintain and monitor both admin and guest internet connections including generating daily usage and coordinate with telecommunication's company if necessary
Provide user support, problem resolution and coordination with different vendors related to Information Technology
Ensure that all desktop computers, servers, laptops, tablet and smartphones are updated on latest corporate approved software patches
General Requirements
BS Computer Science / BS Computer Engineering / BS Information Technology / Electronic Communication or related 4-year courses.
Minimum 5 months experience in a hotel IT
Knowledge in computer software and hardware troubleshooting including local area network and WiFi
Problem solving skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of users in a non-technical language
