Key Responsibilities:
BOM Kitting:
Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project and prepare kitting lists based on production needs.
Collect and organize all components, parts, and materials required for each assembly project, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of kits for scheduled production runs.
Track and report any shortages or discrepancies in BOM kitting to relevant teams.Component Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all components, parts, laboratory consumables, POWI IC and materials used in PCBA processes.
Track inventory usage and reorder components to maintain optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
Organize and store components systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient assembly processes.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to forecast component needs based on production schedules.
Sub Task: PCBA Assembly:
Assemble and solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Perform visual inspection and testing of PCBAs to ensure quality and functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair defective PCBAs, identifying and resolving issues with components, solder joints, and circuits.
Collaborate with engineers to implement design changes and updates on PCBAs.Qualifications:
Technical Certification or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3+ Years of Proven experience in PCBA assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Excellent soldering skills, with experience in both through-hole and surface-mount technologies (SMT).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with BOM kitting and component inventory management.
Experience with inventory management systems or software.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling and storing electronic components and magnetic materials.
