Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day support to Test and Product Engineers.
Performing hardware buy-off activities such as loop testing, spike checks, GRR, open socket testing, reverse insertion, and other related tasks.- Conducting bench testing and characterization.
Carrying out hardware modifications as requested.
- Generating purchase requests and providing logistics support.
Maintaining the test hardware, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and laboratory equipment in good condition.- Conducting repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance as needed.
Creating hardware buy-off and characterization reports.
- Offering support to manufacturing requirements as directed by the Supervisor.
Providing training to new colleagues.- Implementing Lab 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices.
Position Specifications:- Hold a minimum of a 2-year degree in electronics-related fields.
Proficient in the operation of lab equipment.
- Possess a basic understanding of electronic circuits and principles.
Effective communication skills.- Exposure to the operation and maintenance of various ATEs such as the Eagle test system and ASLIK.
Capable of performing hardware repairs, including replacing surface-mount components.
- Able to generate prototype hardware.
Knowledgeable in report generation using MS Office.- Familiar with Lab 5S practices and safety standards.
Experience/Skills:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Product and Test Engineering-related tasks.
At least 1 year of experience in machine handling and maintenance
- Proficiency in Laboratory 5S and safety standards.
