Responsibilities & Skills:
The successful candidate will join Lattice Manila's software technical publications team, responsible for writing, developing, and maintaining FPGA software tools, ensuring user-friendly, accurate, and complete technical documentation. The candidate is expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver FPGA software release requirements for online help. The candidate is expected to improve and develop high quality documentation standards.
Responsibilities & Skills
Bachelor or better in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Minimum five years of solid experience in technical writing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills; excellent command of the English language.
- Can fully write or develop technical documents (online help, user guides, tutorials, and manuals) in a clear and concise manner.
- Able to express complex technical information and translate the same to a user-friendly content.
- Ability to present demonstration of new documents to a diverse audience.
- Proven experience in a software environment or FPGA background.
- Expertise in technical writing concept.
- Knowledge or experience in FPGA technical publications
- Strong drive to collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, developers, engineers, and management.
- Fundamental digital design skills; Adobe FrameMaker, Perforce, JIRA, WebWorks or other equivalent HTML generating tools; scripting skills
Preferred/Nice to have
- Knowledge or experience in FPGA SW tools
- Knowledge of logic design is a plus
