IT Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. You will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner
- Implement and maintain network security measures
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Manage and maintain email systems and collaboration tools
- Document IT processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 - 3 years of experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proficient in hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
- Experience with cloud-based services and applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are a plus
