Duties and responsibilities: ensuring that all vessels are in excellent technical condition and comply with industry regulations.
- monitoring the maintenance schedule, preparing dry-docking plans, and coordinating repair and maintenance activities, both in port and during voyages.
Responsible for the technical operation & maintenance of all operated vessel
Providing technical guidance and support to vessel crews, including troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with emergency response plans, and providing guidance on vessel operations.- Collaborating with the operations department to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of the fleet.
Perform monthly review of logs processes and attend to vessel inspections
- Receive bunkering, lube oil requests and verify such request/s
- Performance Monitoring/ Evaluation
Monitoring vessel performance, including fuel consumption, machinery efficiency, and reliability
- Perform technical compliance audits and investigation on defects/failures on a regular scheduled basis to ensure conformance

- Preventive Maintenance System (PMS)
Regularly monitoring the implementation of the preventive maintenance plan to ensure adherence to the scheduled tasks and compliance with industry regulations and classification society requirements- Reviewing maintenance records, reports, and data to identify any deviations or non-compliance issues and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborating with the maintenance team and other stakeholders to develop an effective preventive maintenance plan for the fleet
Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of spare parts, tools, and consumables needed for preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of critical spare parts to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
The Technical Superintendent shall ensure that a complete set of ship's drawings, plans and instruction manuals for his ships is maintained at the Technical Department..
