Coordinates and monitors shipboard PMS program of his assigned vessel to ensure and verify implementation in accordance with the IMS Code for the optimum performance of vessel equipment, machinery, electrical/electronic system and other cargo handling equipment, it's integrated warning/alarm system. Supervise on site ship repairs in coordination with approved contractors & ensures their optimum performance.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Marine or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledgeable in local shipping industry- Experience in ship management
Knowledgeable in 4-stroke marine diesel engines
- A previous Chief Engineer is an advantage
Familiar with AutoCAD is a plus- Must be willing to be assigned to any area of operation
