Ultrasound machines. With a dedicated team of service engineers, we provide comprehensive after-sales support to our 1,000+ system install base, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Operations Lead to join our team. The Technical Operations Lead will play a critical role in coordinating the dispatch of service engineers, managing parts inventory, and liaising with clients to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsibilities and expectations:
Coordinate the dispatch of service engineers to client sites for installation, maintenance, and repair of imaging equipment.
Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking parts to ensure adequate stock levels and timely delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, scheduling service calls, and providing updates on service requests.
Collaborate with the technical team to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, ensuring efficient response to client needs.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to service engineers, troubleshooting complex problems and facilitating training as needed.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor key performance metrics, such as response times, resolution rates, and customer feedback, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, communicating feedback and requirements to inform product development and service enhancements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to imaging equipment and healthcare services.
Can proactively monitor technical sales opportunities and convince customers for the renewal of service contracts.
Must be willing to travel to client sites to address immediate technical concerns and provide on-site support as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably with license.
Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Strong understanding of imaging equipment, including MRI, CT-Scan, X-ray, and Ultrasound machines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with inventory management software preferred.
Certification in relevant technical areas (e.g., ECE, RRT) is a plus.
Knowledgeable in admin works/ site visit
