GrowthAssistant is looking for an
Technical SEO Assistant for our growth marketing team in the US. This ideal candidate is someone driven and detail-oriented and will help optimize and improve our client's SEO performance. They will be reporting to the client and working closely with the SEO and content team, they will then dive into keyword research, technical SEO, and competitive analysis.

The Role
- Conduct keyword research to identify key terms and trends in relevant categories.
- Analyze competitors to generate content and keyword opportunities.
- Monitor SEO metrics (sessions, clicks, visibility, CTR, pages indexed, etc.) and investigate fluctuations.
- Develop and detail SEO requirement documentation.
- Generate basic performance reports for on-page elements, Core Web Vitals, and crawl issues.
- Research competitor backlink profiles to identify potential outreach opportunities.
- Gather and analyze data from keyword research, ranking, and SEO performance tools.
- Create playbooks and checklists for SEO tasks.
- Conduct SEO audits focusing on keyword rankings, backlink strategy, and site speed.
The Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SEO keyword research.
- Proficiency in on-page, technical, and local SEO.
- Familiarity with SEMRush or Ahrefs (or a similar tool) for keyword research.
- Experience using Google Analytics.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work EST hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Notion (or a similar project management tool).
- Familiarity with Loom, Slack, and Gmail for communication.
- Ability to make updates to Vercel-hosted sites.
- Background in AI, SaaS, or startup environments.
