Freyssinet International Manila Inc (FIMI, is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team of geotechnical experts of Reinforced Earth.
Reinforced Earth Philippines has forged an unrivalled level of expertise and experience in Retaining Structures, Crossing Structures, Preventing and Protecting infrastructure, Soil Reinforcement and Ground Stabilization.
Job Purpose/Summary:
- To always represent the Company's interests in the most appropriate manner.
- To be a key contributor in meeting the Company's sales targets
- To analyse enquiries, to prepare technical-commercial proposals in coordination with the technical department and the General Manager and to ensure their timely submission.
- To install and maintain a good relationship during tenders with existing or potential clients focusing on their requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of commercial offers after approval by Sales & Commercial Manager or BU Manager .
- To proactively follow-up submitted proposals and revise quotations when necessary.
- To establish strong and long-term relationship with the clients.
- To report timely and transparently the updates.
- To train to acquire the relevant competences to perform the duties with the necessary restrain.
- Exercise duty within the guidelines and ethics regulations of the Group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To search for new leads and enquiries for the Company.
- To develop the network withing Owners, Contractors and Consultants.
- To acknowledge and handle request for quotation from clients.
- To coordinate with the Technical Department for preparation of technical proposals
- To assess the required resources (material, equipment, manpower) and define the scope of work based on provided tender documents and technical study.
- To ensure prices from suppliers are always up to date.
- To prepare commercial offers and send them to the client after approved by General Manager.
- To follow-up on submitted proposals and revise quotations when necessary.
- To prepare technical schemes and proposals including optimization of design.
- To submit and ensure approvals of prequalification documents, material submittals, production schedule, delivery schedule and testing schedules.
- To coordinate the design requirements at tender/ negotiation stage ensure commitment to deadlines.
- Coordination meeting with clients post contract award.
- Hand over to Production team.
- To ensure that all risks and assumptions in the commercial proposal are correctly defined, studied and quantified.
- To relay the contract conditions to the Contract Manager to finalize the Contract documents.
