Saveen Management Staffing internship program is a three-month program that gives individuals from non-traditional technical backgrounds a potential career at Saveen Management Staffing.
The Program Structure
Over the course of 3 months, the Technical Recruiter Internship program aims to prepare interns to contribute to the talent acquisition team across the company. We understand that each individual is a beginner in the new space and transitioning into recruitment to grow and advance their sales skill, so we invest time in training and mentorship. What does that look like
- You will be given learning modules to understand the foundation of recruitment.
- Weekly training with instructor on how to source candidates, navigate through job boards, take interviews & etc.
- Weekly 1:1 performance evaluation to gain insight on improvement, feedback, and full support to grow.
- After the 3 month period, each recruiter will be ranked on how many candidates were placed per month to determine if you will be eligible to gain a full time role as a technical recruiter with Saveen Management Staffing ! This decision takes into account business needs and performance during the internship period. This program isn't just for educational exposure, the internship has the potential to lead into a full time recruitment consultant role. Start date: April 1st - July 1st 2024Day In The Life:
- Utilizing innovative sourcing and sales strategies to attract top talent through various platforms such as our internal ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Providing a personalized experience for each candidate based on their qualifications and long-term career goals.
- Conducting in-depth interviews to qualify prospective candidates, both active and passive, in alignment with clients requirements.
- Managing ongoing relationships with senior leadership, sales support, payroll, marketing, HR/benefits, and compliance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with job seekers to acquire market and industry knowledge, generating referrals and sales leads.
- Coordinating the full life-cycle process from scheduling interviews to placement on an assignment.
- Acting as a career coach by conducting formal screenings, providing interview preparation, feedback, and general guidance to job seekers.
- Engaging actively with your team, fostering a collaborative, high-energy culture centered around communication and goal setting.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales/or customer service experience
- Must have a working laptop with camera for Zoom meetings & RELIABLE internet connection
- Must have a US cell phone # in order to contact candidates
- Must have Linkedin Premium account to source candidates
- Previous experience and proficiency with technology such as Slack, ATS system, LinkedIn
- Well-spoken and confident, with effective communication skills across diverse backgrounds.
- High-energy, motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
