Technical Implementation Specialists provides aid to pre-sales discussions from technical side and help fit LSEG products into customer's environment.
They implement technical changes, upgrade and on boarding products and solutions. They also deliver and support professional services deals crafted by solution architects. They also act as technical go to person to other roles within Technical Implementation Team.
Key responsibilities:
Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations of a mixture of products using globally consistent methodologies remotely and on customer site.
Implement tasks outlined in project plans and agreements with customers.
Liaise with customer to ensure efficient product installation
In collaboration with the relationship managers and product team, technical support group, work as the technical owner to resolve product implementation issues in a timely manner, minimizing and/or avoiding any customer impact.
Provide technical consultancy to other internal partners in Customer Implementation and SAM teams.
Maintain awareness of relevant technical and product trends through self-learning, training classes and job shadowing.
Have a working relationship with LSEG vendors providing engineering and network connectivity resources and provide instructions as needed for them to complete the assignments.
Processing of BAU Network Implementation activities
Configuration builds and implementation of Network components
Configure and Fix VPN Tunnels with internal teams and customers.
Maintains customer technical landscape documentation and diagrams
Works with the Coordinator and selected vendor to provision preferred connectivity option to connect the customer to LSEG products
Implement and maintain PS&C complete care service package for the client, this includes periodical service health check as mandated by Complete Care agreement
Skills:
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in operating systems (Windows7, Windows 10,2003 Server,2008 R2 Server,2012 Server R2, Solaris, Linux, Red Hat variant, AWS) and networking technologies.
Mastery in trouble shooting VPN Technologies-L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSEC, Cisco and Juniper CLI
Mastery in technical knowledge of Refinitiv products.
Network Experience in WAN and LAN technologies
Expertise in traditional high availability protocols such as VRRP, HSRP, LACP, PAGP, QoS and similar technologies like NAT's and standards (IEEE).
Experience in a customer facing technical service role.
Good problem management, fix and analytical skills.
Ability to work with remote teams to efficiently deliver projects
Independent worker with excellent time management and critical thinking skills, and able to work through crisis situations.
Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment including supporting projects with remote employees in other offices
