Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and identify areas for process improvement.
- Design and develop financial models and tools to automate and streamline financial processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of financial systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Help with cash reconciliations in the bank debt space.
- Protecting interest based on a particular date.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in the role.
- Has experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and databases.
- Has knowledge of software systems like Wall Street Office and Solvas.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Familiar with bank debt, calculating accruals, day count conventions, etc.
- Data-driven, technical, and willing to dig into issues when they appear.
- Must have a very high level of English proficiency.
